From a weekly cut to a full lawn restoration.
Four services, each priced honestly and explained plainly. No surprise add-ons, no minimum contracts. Every garden's different. I'll always have a free look first and confirm exactly what's involved before you commit.
Regular mowing
A consistent cut from someone who knows what height your grass actually wants. Weekly through peak season, fortnightly otherwise, adjusted to your lawn and the weather.
- Full-lawn mow at the right cutting height for the season
- Edges trimmed cleanly along borders, paths and beds
- Clippings collected, bagged and taken away
- Quick visual health check to flag any issues early
- A friendly knock or text when I'm on the way
Lawn restoration
A proper reset for a tired, patchy or compacted lawn. Same toolkit and approach I use to bring a worn-out fairway back into shape, applied to your garden.
- Scarify to lift thatch and dead growth
- Hollow-tine or solid-tine aeration to break compaction
- Top-dress with a sand/loam mix to level low spots
- Over-seed with a hard-wearing fescue/ryegrass blend
- Initial feed and a written aftercare plan
Seasonal treatments
A simple yearly programme of feeds and targeted treatments, timed so the grass gets what it needs when it needs it. No guesswork, no over-treating.
- Spring feed with selective weedkiller
- Summer slow-release feed (drought-resistant)
- Autumn feed with moss control if needed
- Iron-based winter treatment for colour through frost
- Two-monthly check-ins between visits
New lawn setup
New build gardens, building site leftovers, or anywhere you're starting from scratch. Ground prep done properly so the lawn that follows actually takes, not just looks tidy for six weeks.
- Site clearance and stone/debris removal
- Rotovate, level and grade the topsoil
- Seeding or turfing to your preference
- First watering schedule + 4-week aftercare visits
- 12-month establishment check-in

Things people usually ask.
Got one that isn't here? Drop me a line. Happy to chat through anything.
Do I need a contract?
No. Regular mowing is paid per visit and you can pause whenever, holidays, dry spells, whatever. I just ask for a heads-up the week before so I can plan the round.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer after each visit, or monthly if you prefer for regular customers. Cash is fine too. Invoiced cleanly either way.
What about clippings?
Bagged and taken away by default. If you have a compost heap I'm happy to leave them, just tell me where.
Do you work in the rain?
Light drizzle is fine. Heavy or persistent rain isn't great for the grass or the kit, so I'll usually move to the next dry slot and let you know.
Is the kit yours?
All my own. Petrol mower, edger, scarifier, aerator, the lot. I bring everything I need, including a tarp for clippings.
How far do you travel?
Stowmarket, Needham Market, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and the surrounding villages. Further afield by arrangement, just ask.
Let's get your lawn looking sharp.
A quick chat, a free look at your garden and a price with no strings. I'll come back the same day.
